Reversible reactions, the equilibrium constant, Q versus K, Le Châtelier's principle and solubility.

Unit 8

Acids & Bases

Proton transfer at equilibrium: pH, strong and weak acids, Ka and Kb, buffers and titrations.

Unit 9

Electrochemistry

Electron transfer, harnessed: galvanic and electrolytic cells, standard potentials, free energy and Faraday's law.
